Ruff Buff Ruff Buff TV Opens Its Newsroom
The WNY promo hub now has a home of its own — artist pages, a house playlist, and a front door for your news.
Ruff Buff TV has been covering Buffalo and Western New York music on Instagram for a while now. Today it gets a newsroom.
This site is the permanent version of what @ruffbufftv has been doing on the feed: new music, news, press and recaps from WNY artists, with a lean toward Latin trap and hip-hop. The difference is that nothing here scrolls away. A post from today is still findable next year, it has its own link you can send to a blog or a booker, and it shows up on Google.
Every artist we cover gets a page. Your artist page collects every story we've run on you, with your Instagram, your Spotify and your site linked at the top. It's a press kit that builds itself as we cover you — send the link when someone asks what you've got going on.
There's a player that follows you around the site. Hit play on any song and it keeps going while you read. The bar at the bottom runs the Ruff Buff playlist, our house list of what's moving in the 716 and the rest of Western New York.
Getting on the playlist costs nothing. Submissions are open to any artist based in Buffalo or WNY, and there's a form on the playlists page. We listen to everything that comes in. Not every song makes the list, but nothing is kept off it for the wrong reasons.
